It was a beautiful day really, you couldn’t ask for more perfect weather when 60+ golfers gathered for a 4pm shotgun start to a scramble back nine tournament for Girl Get your Golf Game on 2008 put on by the Women’s Wine & Dine (click here to learn more). The event, which was in it’s third year drew enthusiastic golfers and beginners alike.

The winning foursome shot a 31 collectively and a great time was had by all. Golfers included Veronica Cool (Wachovia Bank), Jennifer Campion (Smith Barney), Betty Hines (Business Builder & Skyline Tours), Tracy Steedman (Gallagher), Content McLaughlin (Tydings & Rosenberg), Paige Koerner (Merry Maids), Janine Di Paula Stevens (Vircity) and Maria Welch (Respira Medical).

Dinner included traditional golf fair of crab balls, BBQ’d meat balls, chicken tenders, crudites, Ceasar Salad, Cabot Cheese & crackers and of course, a delectable chocolate cake.
